Miata Front Tow Hook - Lighweight Version

This is our lightweight version of a front tow hook for 1990-2005 Miata's. The tow hook is designed for installation on the passenger side of the car and to allow the use of the stock tow hook for tying the car down in the trailer.

When we build cars, we try to minimize the amount of things we install on the drivers side of the car to help with overall balance and cross weights. While this tow hook does not weigh much (less than a pound) it is one less thing that gets installed on the drivers side of the car.

The big benefit of this tow hook is that it allows the use of the stock tow hook for tying the car down in the trailer. The stock tow hooks are on the proper angle and are made of very strong steel, but do not meet the 2" GCR requirement. With other aftermarket tow hooks, you have to remove the stock hook and then people either go without tying the car down on both sides in the front, or they end up bending the aftermarket tow hook. Our solution allows you to use both.

The main body is made from aluminum and the strap that is sewn to it is carbon kevlar.
