Finally a high quality steering shaft adaptor that utilizes the stock Mazda steering shaft splines and stock nut.

Once you remove your stock steering wheel, simply slide the steering shaft adaptor over the steering shaft and the put the stock nut back on and you are done. The MiataCage steering shaft adaptor has female splines on the inside that index the male splines from the stock steering shaft and uses the stock taper on the steering shaft so it works just like the Mazda factory steering wheel setup.

This setup is completely modular, so from there you can add steering spacers in 1/2” increments to put the steering wheel exactly where you want it. The steering shaft adaptor is infinitely adjustable since there are so many splines on the stock shaft. The adaptor is made from steel which is exactly the way the factory engineered it. If you look at the stock steering wheels from 90-05 you will see that Mazda made the portion that indexes the splines out of steel. There are some other products on the market that are cast aluminum chinese parts. We feel that Mazda engineered it to be steel on steel so that is the way we made it. Given the mechanical grip and abuse these cars go through in a race environment we feel is the only safe way to go.

This is a 2 piece solution that comes with our 3 bolt to 6 bolt Steering Wheel Adaptor to connect your Momo/Sparco/OMP steering wheel. From there you can directly connect a Momo/Sparco/OMP steering wheel or bolt on various styles of quick disconnects available on the market.
