This is my 1993 Miata Limited Edition #1119 of 1500
made worldwide. I believe these are the rarest of any
Miata ever produced. Her name is Black Betty and this
is the only red Miata interior ever offered. I bought
her in March 2003 with 78K on the clock. I purchased
her in Arizona and drove her all the way home to New
York in three days. It was a great way to get to know
my new roadster. Without a doubt, second-hand Miatas
offer the most smiles per dollar in the world of used
cars and GoMiata.com makes restoration work a breeze.
Stock LE upgrades included BBS wheels, unique exterior
and interior colors and trim, performance stereo,
Billstein shocks, ABS brakes and limited slip
differential and a spoiler package. I have since
removed the front spoiler. After lowering her by one
inch the spoiler was taking a beating.
In the last year I have made the following
modifications: Racing Beat intake from Go Miata(WOW),
Magnecor 8.5mm Miata wires from Go Miata, Splitfire
platinum tip spark plugs, 4 Tokico performance shocks
& springs (1 inch drop), seat covers, custom mats that
fit like a glove, and visor blanking
plates. Removing the sun visors and
installing the blanking plates give the car a clean
"hot-rod" look. I also recently installed new
weatherstripping for my top purchased from Go Miata and
it made a huge difference in wind-noise and leaking.
I couldn't be any happier with my Miata, or with
GoMiata.com.
